Wildlife Damage Repair in New Jersey
Squirrels and raccoons leave damage behind: chewed soffits and fascia, torn roof vents, ripped screens, soiled insulation and chewed wiring. Silver Bullet repairs the damage and seals the openings in one job — so you’re not paying a contractor to fix a hole the animals open again next week.

Animals out first, then repair
Repairing a soffit with an animal still inside traps it — it will chew a new hole or die in the wall. Every repair starts with exclusion: the animals leave through one-way doors, then we repair and reinforce.
Attic cleanup and insulation
Animals pack down and soil insulation, which stops it from working and leaves odor. We remove contaminated insulation, treat the area and can restore insulation. Raccoon latrines need special care — see raccoon latrine cleanup.
Electrical damage
Squirrels and rodents chew wire insulation. If lights flicker or outlets stop working after animal activity, have an electrician check the wiring.
Insurance
Coverage for animal damage varies. Many homeowner’s policies exclude damage from rodents such as squirrels, while some cover sudden damage from other animals like raccoons. Check your policy — we document the damage with photos and a written report you can send your insurer.

Wildlife Damage Repair — FAQ
Do you repair the damage or just remove the animals?
Both. We remove the animals, repair the damaged areas and seal everything with steel so they can’t return.
Does homeowner's insurance cover squirrel damage?
Often not — many policies exclude rodent damage. Raccoon damage is sometimes covered. Check your policy; we provide photo documentation.
Should I replace my attic insulation after animals?
If it’s soiled with droppings or urine, or packed down, yes. Soiled insulation smells and can attract new animals.
Can you match my soffit and trim?
We repair with matching materials where possible and reinforce behind them with steel so the repair looks right and holds up.
